ENPHASE ENERGY MICROINVERTERS

These cutting edge devices improve the performance of solar panel installations significantly because they increase the productivity and reliability of each solar module and reduce the operational expenses associated with large, centralized inverters.

• Traditional inverters collect power from multiple panels and use transformers, capacitors, and switches; they are high voltage and require more installation and maintenance attention.
• Enphase's microinverters leverage semiconductors and are small enough to handle power from individual panels. Microinverters are safer and improve panel performance from5% to 25% and the system warranty exceeds those of otherpanels from 10 years to 15 years.
• Integral to their design is the ability to upgrade as your needs change. With no complex engineering required, additional panels can easily be added to support your family’s growth or to offset inflation’s impact on the price of power.

FAFCO SOLAR POOL HEATING

Over a quarter of a century ago, FAFCO engineers set about the daunting task of redefining the design and manufacturing standards of solar pool heating systems. The goal was to create a solar pool heating system with dramatically increased performance capabilities and more heating power on demand.

• In 1972, the world was introduced to the FAFCO Solar Pool Heating System. Today it is still the high-performance standard by which all other solar systems are measured.

TYPES OF SOLAR PANELS

Monocrystalline Silicon
Due to higher silicon content, these solar panels are the most efficient. They are therefore more expensive, but that bottom line is counterbalanced by the need for fewer of them in your rooftop installation.

 

Polycrystalline Silicon
The silicon content in these is lower than in the monocrystalline panels. While they are slightly less expensive, they are also slightly less efficient. However, these panels are designed to compensate for the lower silicon ratio which makes them an outstanding option for rooftop installations.
